Peter May’s convenient Sail Shade maintenance service for one Sail Shade is only:

  • $350* for urban properties within the Ashburton Borough
  • $450* for rural properties within Canterbury
  • Maintenance per additional Sail: $100*
  • *all including GST, discounts to Ruralco members.

You can then look forward to continuing to enjoy comfortable outdoor living and fun times with family and friends, knowing your Sail Shade/s are in great condition.

Sail Shade Maintenance is another fantastic service offered by Peter May Ltd.  With winter fast approaching, it’s advisable to have Sail Shades cleaned, serviced and stored to ensure they are in pristine condition in Spring.

Benefits:

  • To avoid possible snow damage

  • A thorough clean minimises moisture, dirt and dust build-up

  • To ensure correct tensioning – Sail Shades require periodic maintenance to ensure the fabric remains tight

Peter May Sail Shades are crafted from premium quality shade cloth and hardware designed to withstand harsh Nor’westers, but not the excessive weight of snow.  Storing Sail Shades will avoid possible snow damage and an insurance claim.

Sail Shade maintenance and removal service:

  • Remove and thoroughly clean Sail Shades throughout

  • Service hardware (oiling etc)

  • Dry and store Sail Shade/s

  • Refit in September* (Sail Shade canopies need to be installed firmly and tightly to reduce wind flap. Loose fabric will cause premature failure due to mechanical breakdown, which is not covered by Peter May’s 10 year warranty).
